There were five (5) bias incidents reported during the spring and summer semester of 2014. Some of the incidents occurred on the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, campus while others took place off university property. One (1) incident was reported from a social media site. One (1) incident occurred in an academic facility, one (1) occurred outside the Black Cultural Center, one (1) took place in an office setting, and one (1) occurred on Cumberland Avenue. The reported incidents included four (4) issues of race and one (1) against disability. All reported incidents were investigated and appropriate follow up was taken.
